The main objectives of the departments are to search, prospecting, and systematic development of mineral deposits, as well as mineral administration, including granting leases, collecting revenue and dead rent, and ensuring systematic and environmentally friendly mining.

  Manage mineral resources through granting leases, revenue collection, and ensuring environmentally responsible mining practices. 
• Mineral Exploration: 
  Promote rapid and efficient exploration of the State’s mineral wealth with advanced technologies. 
• Revenue Enhancement: 
  Increase the State’s revenue by boosting mineral production and promoting scientific development. 
• Research & Development: 
  Support R&D in mineral identification, analysis, exploration, and focusing on mineral conservation, waste utilization, and upgrading low-grade minerals.
